Webinar – Accelerating Growth: Progressing Globally Ambitious Sectoral Clusters on the Island of Ireland

The Centre for Cross Border Studies held a high-level policy seminar on the Republic of Ireland’s Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment’s S3 for Innovation and Northern Ireland’s Department for the Economy’s 10X Economy sectoral development strategies.

This seminar focussed on an analysis of these strategies through the lens of the European Panorama of Clusters and Industrial Change, undertaken by Niall O’Donnellan, who will present the findings and main recommendations of his report, Accelerating Growth: Progressing Globally Ambitious Sectoral Clusters on the Island of Ireland.

Niall’s presentation was followed by a discussion with Declan Hughes, Secretary General of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Shane Murphy, Deputy Secretary of the Department for the Economy, and Alison Currie of InterTradeIreland.
