Edel is an independent consultant with 30 years’ experience in the community and voluntary sector.

She is passionate about protecting human rights, tackling inequalities and promoting genuine participation.

Edel obtained her law degree and professional qualification from Queen’s University, Belfast.

Her legal training and experience has provided a solid foundation to her research and consultancy work.

Edel has expertise in policy, advocacy, qualitative and quantitative research, as well as public affairs and campaigning.
