
Dr Ryan Feeney
Ryan is Vice-President and Registrar at Queen’s University Belfast. He studied Education, Business and History at undergraduate level at St Mary’s University College. Ryan holds an MA in History and Politics from Ulster University and an LLM in Law, Governance and Public Policy from Queen’s University Belfast. He also holds a Doctorate in Governance from the National University of Ireland, with a particular focus on the operations and functions of the Strand Two structures of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement. Ryan was formerly a Visiting Professor in Governance and Public Policy at Ulster University. He was appointed to the Higher Education Authority Ireland by the Minister for Further, Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science in March 2026
