The policy landscape for remote working and rural development in Northern Ireland: A comparative study

This report by CCBS Director, Dr Anthony Soares, was commissioned by Rural Community Network. It sets out the public policy context in Northern Ireland for remote working, and considers what actions could be taken to exploit the potential opportunities arising from remote working in support of community and social benefit in rural Northern Ireland. It takes the Republic of Ireland as a key comparator, and the recommendations it offers are informed by interviews with key policymakers and stakeholders from both jurisdictions on the island of Ireland.
