Approaches to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Bordering on (non-) cooperation

This paper is intended to offer some initial considerations on the extent to which existing or new channels of cross-border cooperation have been successfully activated in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, which first appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019.
Beginning with an overview of the collaborative tendencies observable on the island of Ireland, the paper then moves on to consider the extent these can be seen in EU Member States.
