Briefing Note on the Northern Ireland Department for the Economy’s Sub-Regional Economic Plan

The Department for the Economy published its Sub-Regional Economic Plan on 1 October 2024. This plan is coherent, joined up, has clear targets and indicators, with dates attached, and its objectives are grouped under four broad aims that are clearly communicated.
The Sub-Regional Economic Plan is framed by the Minister for the Economy’s four Economic Priorities:
- Increasing productivity
- More Good jobs
- Regional Balance, and
- Decarbonisation.
