The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and Pobal are currently preparing to open two new PEACEPLUS grants schemes aimed at grassroots communities.
The Change Makers Funds, due to open for applications in January 2025, will distribute €40 Million over the next three years to support people to people projects on a cross community and/ or cross-border basis.
Ahead of the schemes formally opening, a series of information events are being run for regional bodies, umbrella groups, statutory agencies, elected representatives, and other stakeholders.
You are invited to attend one of these events so that you might help raise awareness of the Fund among the organisations you work with.
A further series of information and application support events will soon be organised across the region for community, voluntary and target sector organisations who may be interested in applying to the Change Makers Fund. The information at these events will be more appropriate to their needs.
Co-operation Ireland, in partnership with Rural Action and East Border Region have been contracted to help promote the programme and support groups to apply.
