Free mental health & wellbeing courses

The all-island Online Recovery College has 24 free courses on mental health & wellbeing for the benefit of individuals, families, and carers.
Developed by peer educators and health professionals, the courses are at mymentalhealthrecovery.com
The courses are easy to use, and are suitable for anyone with internet access who wants to better understand and take steps to improve their own health and well-being or the health of someone for whom they care.
The content includes general well-being topics:
- Practising self-care
- Managing stress
- Mindfulness & deep relaxation
- How to get a good night’s sleep
- Learning to like yourself
- Building self-esteem
- Understanding and managing depression
- Self-care for carers
- Living well with pain
- Living with cancer
- Improving well-being for young people, and
- Introduction to the menopause
The courses were developed by Cooperation and Working Together, with support from the Health Service Executive in Ireland and Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland. The project was supported by the European Union’s INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
