Eight students win Universities Ireland-IBEC-CBI North-South masters bursaries

The following students have been awarded Universities Ireland-IBEC-CBI North-South Masters bursaries (business-sponsored) for the academic year 2007-2008:

Ashlyn Kessopersadh, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, doing a Master’s in Ecological Management and Biological Conservation at Queen’s University Belfast

Ray Colleran, a graduate of National University of Ireland Galway, doing an MSc in Finance at Queen’s University Belfast

Karen Hamilton, a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, doing a Master’s in Landscape Architecture at University College Dublin

Amy Harpur, a graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology, doing an MSc in Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Ulster

Leslie Altic, a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, doing a Master’s (by research) on ‘Novel Functional Foods based on Foliate Enrichment’ at University of Ulster and Trinity College Dublin

Brian D. Brady, a graduate of University College Dublin, doing an MSc in Finance at Queen’s University Belfast

These bursaries have been jointly sponsored by Universities Ireland and the following companies: Dublin Port Company, Arthur Cox, CSA Group, RPS Group, Healy Group and BT.

The following students have been awarded Universities Ireland North-South Masters bursaries for the academic year 2007-2008:

Philip Callan, a graduate of University College Dublin, doing an MA in either Comparative Ethnic Conflict or Violence, Terrorism and Security at Queen’s University Belfast

Garrett Carr, a graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology and University of Ulster, doing a Masters (by research) on ‘New Maps of the Border’ at Queen’s University Belfast
