Business Supports for SMEs in the Cross-Border Region event

Staff members from the Border People FLOW project attended today’s Dundalk Chamber of Commerce “Business Supports for SMEs in the Cross-Border Region” event in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry.
Hannah McDonnell, President of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration, particularly in supporting SMEs.
She introduced five speakers who spoke on the support available to businesses operating in the cross-border region:
- Brenda McGeeney (Cross Border Partnership Employment Services)
- Tracey Smith (Intreo – the Public Employment Services, Department of Social Protection)
- Fionnbarr Dorrian (Employer Services, Department for Communities)
- John Counihan (InterTradeIreland) and
- Nikki Campbell (Local Enterprise Office Louth).
The seminar was funded by Cross Border Partnership Employment Services.
