Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network annual assembly and conference

Aidan Campbell, the CCBC’s Research Programme Development Manager, has attended the Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network annual assembly and conference in Girona Catalunya.

On Monday, Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network (TEIN) members had a meeting with representatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government Administration for Catalunya) and the Diputació de Girona (Government Administration for Girona) – both are active in the Espace Catalan Transfrontalier – Espai Català Transfronterer (Programme Interreg VI-A Spain-France-Andorre) – and they discussed various cooperation perspectives.

The meeting was part of the “Beyond Borders, Culture, Language and Identity in European Integration” conference at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Girona.

TEIN is made up of representatives of universities, research centres and institutions dedicated to cross-border cooperation in Europe.

Anthony Soares (from the CCBC) joins Damien Bouvier, Martin Unfried and Birte Wassenberg on a new TEIN steering committee for the next three years.
