Welcome to our series of online events that will explore issues relevant to the all-island labour market.
The series builds upon the experiences of the Centre’s long-established Border People project, and is prompted by recent publications, especially the All-Island Labour Market study.
At each event speakers will share their expertise across a range of topics, and the lived experiences encountered by cross-border employers and all-island workers will feature throughout.
Ultimately we hope that the events will foster solution-seeking discussions aimed at untapping latent opportunities in the region.

Tuesday 24th June at 11.30am – 1pm, via Zoom.
In the third webinar in the series, Annmarie O’Kane (Border People Project Manager) will be joined by professional economist Maureen O’Reilly and the discussion will focus on skills and qualifications. Gillian Doherty, Chief Operations Officer at Accounting Technicians Ireland, will speak about the recently-launched cross-border apprenticeship programme.
Target Audience:
These events are especially relevant to policy makers, however if you are a cross-border employer, remote worker, or part of a large organisation, the series will be of interest.
We hope you can join us.
Stay connected and stay informed.
