All of the services provided / offered by CCBS are complementary to our strategic vision mission and goals. There are three main strands to the services offered by CCBS: Secretariats, Training and Mentoring, and Information.

The Secretariat services provided by CCBS support valuable cross-border networks that are otherwise dependent upon voluntary steering committees/boards of management. At present, CCBS provides Secretariat services to SCoTENS and Universities Ireland.

Information services: CCBS provides a high quality cross-border citizens’ information facility – Border People. CCBS collates, analyses and disseminates data from this information service and makes it available to policy and decision-makers through a series of briefing papers and seminars.  Border-Zine is a monthly digest of cross-border events, publications and news from Ireland and beyond.  Media Watch provides a monthly summary of news items related to cross-border issues in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Similarly Gov Watch provides a summary of relevant discussions in the Oireachtas and the NI Assembly.

The Training and Mentoring services  are built around four innovative Toolkits that together comprise a portfolio of tools to support cross-border cooperation throughout the entire cross-border project life-cycle. They will be of benefit to cross-border projects on the island of Ireland, and indeed are easily transferable to other cross-border and transnational projects elsewhere.
