Centre for Cross Border Studies has a new Director

The Centre for Cross Border Studies is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Anthony Soares as its Director, following an open competition.

Anthony has worked at the Centre since 2013, first as Research and Policy Manager, then as Deputy Director, and most recently as its Acting Director.

The Centre’s Chairperson, Helen Johnston, said that Anthony brought knowledge, capability, energy and a passion for cross-border working to the position, and was confident that he would continue to lead the Centre in making an important contribution to cross-border research and dialogue.
