CCBS Deputy Director gives evidence to House of Lords Committee

CCBS Deputy Director, Anthony Soares, appeared before the House of Lords EU Home Affairs Sub-Committee to give evidence to its inquiry on Brexit and reciprocal healthcare arrangements. The inquiry’s overall focus is on the reciprocal healthcare implications of Brexit for UK citizens travelling, living and/or working in the rest of the EU, and for EU citizens travelling, living and/or working in the UK, in both the short and medium term. However, CCBS were invited to appear before the Committee alongside representatives of Cooperation and Working Together (CAWT) to discuss the implications of Brexit for reciprocal healthcare arrangements between Northern Ireland and Ireland.
