REVIVING THE BORDER REGION ECONOMY
RESEARCH PROJECT
A project supported by INTERREG IVA Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body
The Centre for Cross Border Studies is seeking a researcher (or researchers) to carry out a package of four closely interrelated studies to find ways of understanding and increasing the accessibility, size, transparency, competitiveness and profitability of Irish Cross-Border Region markets in a post-conflict context but also in a period of international recession. This project is funded by the INTERREG IVA programme.
The project’s four research topics will be: peripherality, consumer behaviour (shopping), producer behaviour (micro-firms) and
tourism in the cross-border region.
