The Standing Conference on Teacher Education, North and South (SCoTENS) held its third annual conference in Malahide, Co Dublin, in November 2005 under the title ‘Teacher Education for Citizenship in Culturally Diverse Societies’.

At the third annual SCoTENS conference in Malahide on 10-11 November 2005 were from left to right, Professor Jagdish Gundara UNESCO Chair of International Studies and Teacher Education, University of London, Mr Tom Boland Chief Exec. HEA., Ms Síle de Valera, Minister of State Dept. of Education and Science, and Dr Dympna Devine. Education Dept. University College Dublin.

This conference was organised by the Centre for Cross Border Studies on SCoTENS’ behalf.
