Research articles sought for The Journal of Cross Border Studies in Ireland

The Centre is seeking high quality research articles on issues of practical cross-border co-operation to include in the 2011 edition of its Journal of Cross Border Studies in Ireland. The subject matter of such articles can cover a wide range of areas, including education, training, health, business and the economy, public administration, transport and communications, energy (including renewables), agriculture, planning, housing, community development, tourism, the arts, law and human rights, policing and the environment. We accept articles about cross-border co-operation in Ireland and overseas. Those interested should submit a one page abstract to the director, Andy Pollak. If approved, the deadline for receipt of final articles will be 10th January 2011, for publication in March 2011. The Centre will pay £500/€600 for an article of 4,000-5,000 words.
