The launch of the e4p Case Study book – official title: “Patient Mobility in the European Union: learning from experience” – took place on Monday, 29 May 2006 at the European Parliament, hosted by John Bowis, MEP.
This case book includes a chapter on cross-border care on the island of Ireland which examines the extent of patient and professional mobility, the level of cross-border activity involving professional accreditation, exchanges, training and conferences and reviews how attitudes and policy to cross-border health care have changed in recent times.
