The Centre for Cross Border Studies launched the Local Government report at a North/South Study day on 4 October 20001. Invitations were sent to key individuals in health boards and trusts, government departments, and other relevant organisations.

What is the best management structure for local government cross-border co-operation? How can such co-operation contribute to reconciliation between divided communities on the island of Ireland?
