CCBS responds to inquiry on the Barroso Task Force

The Centre for Cross Border Studies has provided written evidence to the Inquiry into the Barroso Task Force initiated by the Committee for the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister. Among some of its views, CCBS stressed how the Barroso Task Force had “provided privileged and timely access to a wide range of European Union policy areas”, and how it had “underlined the importance of cross-border cooperation and joint Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland governmental efforts in addressing problems common to both jurisdictions”.
