CCBS in attendance at EU Open Days 2015, Brussels

13th European Week of Regions and Cities
The Centre for Cross Border Studies had a productive few days attending EU Open Day workshops in Brussels on 13, 14 and 15th October 2015.
The Ireland / Northern Ireland Border Region was well represented at the following workshops:
- SME involvement in European territorial cooperation programmes
- The role of Territorial Impact Assessment in improving EU policy making
- Inclusion of mobile EU citizens
- Cross-border cooperation and regional integration, a worldwide approach
- Filling the data gap in border regions: the importance of developing meaningful cross-border data for policy making and programme management
- Trends and perspectives for the European territory and practical use of the ESPON Tool Box for cities
