CCBS Director presents to students from the American University at Rome

On 28 March, just one day before the original Brexit date, CCBS Director was at Queen’s University in Belfast to make a presentation to a group of students from the American University at Rome. She outlined the Irish Government’s priorities for the negotiations and the growing consensus across the island (excluding the political Unionism) in support of the Withdrawal Agreement including the backstop. She explained why the ‘backstop’ is important to Ireland and the EU and the importance of protecting the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement in all its parts.
