‘Interpreting the treasures of two eighteenth century libraries: maps from the collections of Armagh Robinson Library and Marsh’s Library, Dublin’

The 3rd Annual Spring Lecture will be given by Dr Annaleigh Margey, Lecturer in History and Digital Humanities, Dundalk Institute of Technology on Thursday 3 May 2018 at 7.30pm in Armagh Robinson Library. 

Dr Margey is currently working on a cross-border project with Armagh Robinson Library and Marsh’s Library, Dublin to digitise, and exhibit, the map holdings of the two eighteenth-century libraries. She has written several articles on early modern mapping in Ireland, particularly on Ulster, and on the 1641 depositions.

 

The Lecture at 7.30pm will be followed by light refreshments
